GREENZYME Tablet

Each Film Coated Tablet Contains:Diastase 100 mg,Pepsin 60 mg,Activate Charcoal 75 mg 

Use and Indications of Greenzyme Tablet:

  1. Digestive Aid: Diastase and Pepsin are enzymes that aid in the digestion of carbohydrates (Diastase) and proteins (Pepsin), respectively.
  2. Antidote for Poisoning: Activated Charcoal is used to absorb toxins and chemicals in cases of poisoning, reducing their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.

Mechanism of Action of Diastase,Pepsin, Activate Charcoal Tablet:

  • Diastase: Helps in breaking down starches and carbohydrates into simpler sugars during digestion.
  • Pepsin: Digests proteins into peptides and amino acids, aiding protein digestion.
  • Activated Charcoal: Binds to toxins and prevents their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their elimination from the body.

Drug Interactions of Greenzyme Tablet:

  • Activated Charcoal can interfere with the absorption of other medications taken concurrently. It should be administered at least two hours before or after other medications.
