Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains Levofloxacin Hemihydrate IP eq to Levofloxacin - 750 mg.

Indications:

LEVERO 750 Tablet is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including:

  • Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Intra-abdominal infections
  • Acutes Sinusitis
  • Chronic Bronchitis
  • Community-Acquired Pneumonia
  • Complicated Urinary Tract Infections Including Pyelonephritis

Mechanism of Action:

Levofloxacin, the active ingredient in LEVERO 750, is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, crucial enzymes for bacterial DNA replication and transcription, leading to bacterial cell death.

Dosage:

  • Adults: The usual dosage is 750 mg once daily for 5 to 14 days, depending on the type and severity of the infection.
  • Children: Use in pediatric patients should be determined by a healthcare professional.
