- Respiratory tract infections - Effective against bacterial infections affecting the lungs and airways, such as pneumonia and bronchitis.

- Gastrointestinal infections - Useful in managing infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, such as bacterial diarrhea and dysentery.
- Gynecological infections - Addresses infections in the female reproductive system, including pelvic inflammatory disease and bacterial vaginosis.
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections - Can be used for treating skin infections and abscesses caused by susceptible bacteria.
- Dental Infections - Effective in managing infections related to dental procedures or periodontal disease.
