It inhibits specifically and dose proportionally the gastric H+,K+ at pase enzyme which is responsible for acid secretion in the parietal cells of the stomach.

Composition:

Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection.

        Indication of Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection (PHUP 40  Injection).:

  • GERD

  • For The Symptomatic Improvement And Healing Of Gastrointestinal Disease Which Required A Reduction In Acid Secretion E.G. Duodenal Ulcer, Gastric Ulcer, Moderate And Severe Reflux Oesophagitis.

  • For the symptomatic improvement and healing of gastrointestinal diseases which require a reduction in acid secretion e.g. Duodenal ulcer, Gastric ulcer, Moderate and severe reflux oesophagitis.

Contra-Indications of Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection (PHUP 40  Injection).:

  • Hypersensitive any of the constituents.

Side Effects of Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection (PHUP 40  Injection).:

  • Headache

  • Diarrhoea

  • Pruritus

  • dizziness

Packaging:

40 mg Pack with Mono Carton.

          Dosage  of Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection.: 

One tab per day, either during or before breakfast. Duodenal ulcer: 1 tab for 2 weeks. Gastric ulcer: 1 tab for 4 weeks. Gastro-oesophageal reflux: 1 tab for 4 weeks.

        Special Precautions of Pantoprazole 40 mg Injection.: 

Pregnancy: Should not be used unless the benefit exceeds the potential risk. Lactation: Should not be used unless the benefit exceeds the potential risk.

 

What Conditions does Pantoprazole SODIUM Vial Treat ?

  • Increased Stomach Acid from Systemic Mastocytosis
