Composition: Rosuvastatin IP 10mg + Clopidogrel IP 75mg + Aspirin IP 75 mg Capsule

Rozusteen Gold 10 Cap belongs to a group of antihyperlipidemic and antiplatelets used to treat heart attack, myocardial infarction (blockage of the blood to muscles of the heart), angina (chest pain), and stroke. A heart attack happens when the blood flow to the heart is blocked. The blockage is most often a build-up of cholesterol, fat, and other substances, which form a plaque (semi-hard accumulation of substance from fluid) in the arteries that supply to the heart. Sometimes, a plaque can burst, forming a clot that blocks blood flow. Symptoms of a heart attack include chest pain, tightness in the chest, and pain in the neck, arm, or back.

ROSUVASTATIN + CLOPIDOGREL + ASPIRIN CAPSULE is a fixed-dose combination composed of three medicines: Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, and Aspirin. Rosuvastatin belongs to a group of drugs known as antihyperlipidemic. Rosuvastatin lowers the level of lipids. It blocks the ability of the body to produce bad cholesterol and improves the ability of the body to make good cholesterol. Clopidogrel and aspirin both belong to a group of drugs known as Antiplatelet. They work by preventing the blood from sticking together and decreasing the production of clots which is harmful to the body. Altogether ROSUVASTATIN + CLOPIDOGREL + ASPIRIN CAPSULE help to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain (angina).

ROSUVASTATIN + CLOPIDOGREL + ASPIRIN CAPSULE is available in the form of oral capsules. It usually takes one time a day with water or as prescribed by your doctor. Doses of the Rozusteen Gold 10 Cap.  will decide by your doctor. It should be taken after eating food (low lipid food). In some cases, ROSUVASTATIN + CLOPIDOGREL + ASPIRIN CAPSULE can cause side effects like Headache, Muscle pain, increased bleeding, stomach pain, Indigestion, Bruise (discolouration of the skin), bleeding in the nose, Weakness, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Diarrhea, and Nausea. Most of these side effects of ROSUVASTATIN + CLOPIDOGREL + ASPIRIN CAPSULE do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. But if bleeding persists longer, please consult your doctor.

1. Rosuvastatin:

Use: Rosuvastatin is a statin medication primarily used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. It belongs to a class of drugs called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, which work by blocking an enzyme in the liver that produces cholesterol.

Dosage: The typical starting dose for Rosuvastatin is 10 to 20 mg once daily, taken orally. However, the dosage may vary depending on individual patient factors such as cholesterol levels, age, and other medical conditions.

2. Clopidogrel:

Use: Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication used to prevent blood clots in people with various cardiovascular conditions, such as heart attack, stroke, or peripheral artery disease. It works by inhibiting the ability of platelets to clump together and form clots.

Dosage: The usual dose of clopidogrel is 75 mg once daily, taken orally, with or without food. In some situations, a loading dose of 300 mg may be given initially. Dosage adjustments may be necessary based on individual patient factors and in consultation with a healthcare provider.

3. Aspirin:

Use: Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with antiplatelet effects commonly used for preventing heart attacks, strokes, and blood clot formation in individuals at risk of cardiovascular events. It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby reducing the production of substances that promote inflammation and blood clot formation.

Dosage: The recommended dose of aspirin for preventing cardiovascular events is typically 75-100 mg once daily. However, higher doses may be used for acute conditions such as a heart attack, under medical supervision.
