Varieto P Tablet (Etoricoxib 60 Mg, Paracetamol 325 Mg Film Coated Tablet)

VARIETO P Tablet combines Etoricoxib (60 mg) and Paracetamol (325 mg) to provide effective pain relief through dual mechanisms.

Mechanism of Action:

  • Etoricoxib: A selective COX-2 inhibitor that reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the enzyme responsible for producing prostaglandins.

  • Paracetamol: An analgesic and antipyretic that alleviates pain and reduces fever by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain.

Uses and Indications:

This combination tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, and pain in the ear and throat.

Dosage:

The recommended dosage should be determined by a healthcare provider based on individual health conditions and pain severity. Typically, one tablet is taken orally with water, either with or without food. It's important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed the recommended duration of use.

Contraindications:

VARIETO P Tablet should be avoided in individuals with:

  • Allergy to Etoricoxib, Paracetamol, or any other components of the tablet.

Drug Interactions:

  • Other NSAIDs, increasing the risk of adverse effects.

  • Blood thinners, potentially affecting blood clotting.

  • Alcohol, which can increase the risk of liver damage and gastrointestinal issues.
