Peptigan Liquid- The combination of Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel 250 mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 250 mg, Activated Dimethicone 50 mg, and Sorbitol base Suspension is commonly used as an Antacid, Antigas and Antiflatulent to relieve symptoms of indigestion, heartburn, and gas. The general usage and dosage are as follows, but it is always important to follow the specific instructions provided by your healthcare provider or the product label.

Peptigan Antacid liquids, like the combination of Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel, Magnesium Hydroxide, Activated Dimethicone, and Sorbitol Suspension, are used to neutralize stomach acid and relieve symptoms associated with excess stomach acid. Here are the primary indications:

Indications:

  1. Heartburn: Relief of burning sensation in the chest or throat caused by acid reflux.
  2. Indigestion (Dyspepsia): Relief of discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen, bloating, and nausea.
  3. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Management of chronic acid reflux causing irritation in the esophagus.
  4. Peptic Ulcer Disease: Symptomatic relief of ulcers in the stomach or the first part of the small intestine (duodenum).
  5. Gastritis: Relief of inflammation of the stomach lining.
  6. Hiatal Hernia: Relief of symptoms caused by a part of the stomach pushing up into the chest through an opening in the diaphragm.
  7. Bloating and Gas: Reduction of gas and bloating, particularly due to the antifoaming agent, Dimethicone.

Dosage for Adults:
