Ofloxacin IP - 50 mg
Racecadotril - 15mg

OFLOXACIN:

• High effective & well tolerated bactericidal flouroquinolone
• Excellent bioavailability as compared to norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin

RACECADOTRIL :

• Oral enkephalinase inhibitor used in the treatment of acute diarrhoea.

Indication:

• Recurrent Clostridium Difficile Infection
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Intra-Abdominal Infection
• Diarrhea And Dysentery Due To Mixed Infections
• Prophylaxis & Treatment Of Post-Operative Infections
• Severe Intestinal And Hepatic Amoebiasis
• Trichomoniasis Of Urogenital Tract

Contra-indications:

• Quinolone Hypersensitivity
• Hypersensitivity To Ornidazole And Other Imidazoles

Drug interactions:

• Antacids
• Magnesium Or Aluminum Containing Antacids Reduce Absorption
• Sucralfate Reduce Absorption
