Etoricoxib 90 mg Film Coated Tablet
Etoricoxib helps to reduce the pain and swelling (inflammation) in the joints and muscles of people 16 years of age and older with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout.
ETORICOXIB
It is a highly selective cyclooxygenase (COX-2) inhibitor. It exhibits anti inflammatory, analgesic antipyretic activities without inhibiting gastric prostaglandin doses. It is well absorbed when administered orally.
Indications/uses of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis,
acute gouty arthritis,
acute pain,
associated with dental surgery and primary dysmenorrhea.
Dosage Indications of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Osteoarthritis : rheumatoid arthritis 90mg once daily, Acute gouty arthritis 120mg once daily, Acute pain after dental surgery 120mg once daily, Primary dysmenorrhea 60-120mg once daily.
Contra-Indications Indications of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions Indications of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Severe renal disease, Pre-existing edema, hypertension or cardiac failure, pregnancy, Lactation, Paediatrics, Elderly patients.
Side Effects Indications of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Asthenia/fatigue, dizzines, lower extremity edema, hypertension, dyspepsia, heart bum, nausea, headache, abdominal pain, flu-like, disease and GI upset.
Drug Interactions Indications of Etoricoxib Tablet (Varieto 90 Tablet )
Warferin, Rifampicin, Methotrexate, ACE inhibtors, Lithium.
